Reasons to Support James
James is a committed internationalist and was attracted to the Liberal Democrats by their outward looking attitudes and belief that international co-operation makes us stronger not weaker. He sees the potential that the Liberal Democrats can and have already achieved in the EU as part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).
He is also fully aware of the scepticism felt by many UK residents towards the EU and realises that we must publicise as widely as possible the positive work of the EU, especially the role of the Liberal Democrats in the EU.
James' policy interests are focused on the environment, bringing investment to the region, supporting small businesses and campaigning for the non-militarization and peaceful uses of space. You can read about these issues by clicking on the menu items on the left.
